NookPals is a cozy logic puzzle that keeps your progress and settings on your device. This policy explains what stays local, and what the app deliberately does not do.

Overview
NookPals is designed to be played quietly, on your own device. It does not require an account, does not upload your gameplay data, and does not include advertising, analytics, attribution, or tracking services. The information the app needs to function — your progress and your preferences — is stored locally on the device where you play.
No Account Required
We do not ask you to sign in or create an account to play.
- No username, password, email address, or in-app registration is required.
- No photo library, camera, microphone, contacts, or location access is required for gameplay.
- There is no developer-operated cloud account tied to your progress.
Information Stored on Your Device
The app saves gameplay-related information locally so your puzzles and preferences are there the next time you open it. This may include:
- cleared levels, current board state, Main Levels progress, and Daily Challenge status;
- settings such as sound, music, haptics, grid icons, language, and theme;
- your selected profile avatar and frame;
- marks, hints, and undo state for the puzzle you are currently solving.
This information is kept in on-device app storage, including a local encrypted database. It stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.
No Data Collection or Upload
The current version of NookPals does not collect or upload personal information. It does not send gameplay events, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, crash reports, or usage statistics to us or to third parties.
No Advertising or Third-Party Services
The app does not show ads and does not integrate advertising networks, mediation platforms, analytics SDKs, attribution providers, or diagnostic services. We do not share, sell, or otherwise make your data available to data brokers or advertising partners, because that data is never collected in the first place.
This website is a set of static pages. It does not load third-party fonts, scripts, analytics pixels, or embedded trackers.
Notifications and Tracking Permission
NookPals does not request notification permission and does not send push notifications or local reminder messages. It does not request App Tracking Transparency permission, and it does not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.
Offline Play and Data Sync
Core puzzle gameplay works offline. Because there is no account-based cloud save system, progress stays on the device where it was created and does not sync to other devices. Uninstalling the app removes the local data associated with it.
Support Contact and External Links
If you email us for help, we receive the information you choose to include in your message and use it only to respond to your request. The app and this site may link to the App Store or open your mail app when you choose those actions.
Children's Privacy
NookPals is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has contacted us directly and provided personal information, please email us so we can review and remove it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy if the app's features or data practices change. When we do, we will update the date shown at the top of this page.
